IT-087 DVB-C Signal Analyzer

The IT-087 DVB-C Signal Analyzer is a configuration of the IT-08 Multifunction TV Meter comprised of MB-08 Base Unit and MC-087 Removable Module. IT-087 is designed to ensure high-performance testing and adjustment of television and broadcasting distribution networks as well as of separate components of such networks, or other electronic devices. The Analyzer allows measurement of DVB-C signal parameters and analog signals. IT-087 is capable to satisfy all your measurement needs for high-quality operation within the range of 45 to 865 MHz.

  • measurement modes:
    • BER/MER mode performs measurements of DVB-C channels and shows the results on a bar-graph or a constellation diagram
    • SPECTRUM mode provides scanning of the entire band with the span defined by the user from 18 to 72 MHz
    • SCAN, TILT and RIPPLE modes show the level of all the channels present in the band (or channels according to the channel plan) on a bar-graph
  • LEVEL measurements:
    • for analog channels: channel level, Carrier to Noise (C/N) ratio, Video to Audio (V/A) ratio
    • for digital channels: channel power, Carrier to Noise (C/N) ratio.
  • measurement of reception quality parameters of digital channels:
    • modulation error rate (MER)
    • bit error rate (BER) before and after Reed-Solomon decoder
    • channel carrier frequency offset from the tuning frequency
  • data logger storing:
    • up to 32 channel plans (with channel names) and automatic channel plan creation. Automatic search for digital channel modulation parameters
    • up to 130 measurement logs (each showing channel levels, C/N and V/A ratios), checking the parameter against the limit plan and saving measurement date and time. For digital channels channel power, C/N ratio, BER, and MER are measured
    • up to 130 spectrum analyzer logs with 125 kHz step, adjustable scanning span and saving measurement date and time.
